The Mercury Phoenix Trust was founded by Brian May, Roger Taylor and Queen manager Jim Beach shortly after Freddie Mercury's death. Since its foundation, the Trust has provided over £17m of funding to projects in the fight against HIV/AIDS around the world.
The London Sock Exchange worked with the Trust and Queen to create a limited-edition yellow sock, featuring Freddie Mercury in one of his most iconic on-stage moments.
The London Sock Exchange is an independent British design studio dedicated to making amazing socks, for a reasonable price, and upholding the highest standards in sustainability.
